For those of you who don’t know, and think the blog has been a bit quiet for a while, the reason for this is that we have had a stressful and rather traumatic couple of weeks.
Two weeks ago Mikkel had a series of epileptic fits and we were taken to hospital. After almost a week of testing, the conclusion is that he has child – epilepsy. He is on medication, and it seems to be working! When children get epilepsy there is a great chance of them growing out of it, because it’s caused by the brain developing unevenly. And we are off course hoping for that.
He seems to be more rested and happy now, without that stressful activity in the brain. And he is full of beans and all over the place. It feels good.
