Kolding – you’re not so bad!

Today Maria took us on a nostalgic tour of the town, which strangely did not include her barnehagen… Later we had lunch by the river, a visit to the castle, and a trip to a park with lots of free fun things to do, climb on, slide down, ride in etc. Then it was beer and brus o’clock – hooray! Even later we went back to the river and ate at a restaurant with a outdoor terrace. Mikkel tried to pour Sprite on a man dining in the restaurant below us, but happily his aim was a little off.

Summer holiday 2, part 6

OMG. Kolding! After Legoland we drove to Kolding, bellybutton of the world. Tomorrow we are gonna look at mammas House, mammas college and mammas kindergarten (apparently). Today we went out for a nice Italian and relaxed in the hotel…

Woop woop! LEEEEGOLAND!

Mikkel got his birthday present today. He didn’t know what it was when we left Vejle this morning. He thought the reason for all the Legoland posters everywhere was because there is a boat from Esbjerg to England.

All for sunndrn he realised:

It was a great day!

Summer holiday 2, part 5

Woke up after an amazing nights sleep in the wild. After breakfast we went to see the sight of the area Råbjerg Mile. It is a 1000 m by 1000 m sand dune that is moving through the landscape at 15 m per year. In about 400 years it will be where our camp site is now.

Then we went to buy some lunch and took it to the beach.

Now we’ve just had dinner and there is more awaiting!

Summer holiday 2, part 4

Got up and had breakfast and started at North Europes largest aquarium, drove to Skagen, had a look around and a good lunch.

Went to råbjerg Mile to do a nights camping in our microscopic tent. They gave an outdoor and indoor swimmingpool and the kids love it. Will see how the night goes…
