Ut på tur, aldri sur
Ronja and mamma got on skistubussen and got it to fjellseter with m+o. Walked down past furu klumpen, behind kopperdammen to tømmeldalsveien, up to Dreyers minne (we found it, yeeey!) down to driftsveien, behind våttåkammen, fagerlia, theisendammen, BB and home. 4 hours and tonnes of mushrooms!
Chilling with my homie
Goat mountain
We walked from lavollen to Goat mountain, – geitfjellet, climbed down the back to try and get to Dreyers minne, got a bit lost and couldn’t Fint it. Got stuck in some bushes and got wet feet in a swamp. But still pretty cheerful we went to BB and bought ice cream and stuff for dinner.
Nykøping to Hudiksvall
Had a walk around Nyköping before we left. Dan and Mikkel did some sightseeing, the rest looked at second hand shop. Drove to Hudiksvall where we set up camp at the beach camp site and had a swim. Mikkel felt a bit queezy so we said he was just hungry and went to the beach-bar.
After dinner and a look at the sunset and fishes we went back to the tent. Mikkel started puking almost right away, so we ended up spilitt us, Dan & Ronja in the tent. Mikkel and MA in the car. So that was a fun and eventful night… When morning came we packed up and had breakfast at the beach before we drove home. Stopped at Järpen for supplies.
Mikkel is better now. 😁
Thank you for a great holiday guys!
Germany-Denmark – Sweden
Got the ferry putgarten – Rødby and drove up through Denmark. Stopped at Køge bugt for lunch and a swim. Drove over the bridge and up to Nyköping, Stora hotellet, where we have stayed before.
Blank-eck
A while day at the beach. Nice picnic. Got told off for using the solo stove, in German. Ronja got a tan. Mikkel grew webs between his toes.
Mikkels birthday
Woke up in the nice hotel, had hotel breakfast, drove to Lübeck, had a look around, ate some cake, saw the cathedral, drove to Blank-eck where we were gonna do two days camping. They had a Greek restaurant so we had Mikkels birthday dinner there. Massive portions!
Schwerin
The day before Mikkels birthday we went to Schwerin because it was going to rain a lot and we couldn’t find hotels in Lubeck. Schwerin was lovely, and had improved a lot since mama was there last in 1995. We stayed the night in a lovely countryside mansion. The kids wanted to stay in bed and watch German TV, perhaps because they are afraid of mosquitoes. But the parents went out for a bit of chess and boules.
