Had to quickly see Kaja (and the gang) before they go on holiday tomorrow.
Since grandad and grandma Chris couldn’t make it we decided to go to the cottage for a couple of days. First the weather was gidd, then bad, then really shitty. Then we went home!
Mikkel designed and partly painted. Pappa sorted the wheels and oiled. All good!
Yesterday we cut grass and worked in the garden. We also had homemade gnocchi and weed-pesto for dinner.
Today it is raining so we’ve been to see ‘Thor, love and Thunder” at the cinema. Pretty good. Maybe top 10 but not top 5. Some thought!
We went to Sletteløkka for Great Grand Leivs birthday. He served cinnamon buns and strawberries. Ronja did a bit of juggling and got stung by a bee. The train ride home was really long, some of us thought. Some of us thought it was only a couple of hours longer than getting the plane, and was happy we weren’t on the carriage with all the interrailers!
Walked to Vigelandsparken, bus from there to natural history museum and botanical gardens. Walked back to center via Grønland. Lunch at Deichmanske Bibliotek, climbed the opera, went to see Tracey Emins massive mother-sculpture. Back via Carl Johan and OsloCity where Dan got a blazer in the sale. Freshened up and went for Mexican just off Frognerveien.
The train was over an hour left, so we were pretty hungry when we had checked in to the hotel. Burger at Kverneriet Solli plass.
SUSS came for low-key hot-dog-pary-dinner. Very nice to hang!
