While we are waiting for Dan and Mikkel to set up the drumkit I’ll share some films of pikkels previous life as a musician!

And Ronja also bought herself a really cool hat!
Both Ronja and Mikkel swam to the bouy(?) with bestefar Olav. One after the other. Burgers for dinner.
We (Mikkel) made most of the hotel buffet before we drove south. We saw Torghatten from the wrong side, before we hit another ferry. Well into Trøndelag we popped in to see uncle Andreas’ family farm at Overhalla. Got coffee and leftover cake from Kajas first 2nd birthday party yesterday. it was great to see where uncle comes from, and meet his lovely family!
Driving back we stopped for some food in a nice ditch, but otherwise did it in one go. Got home to a runaway rabbit (which we caught) and a very happy Henry McNulty Pettersen, who’s now sleeping like a dog instead of watching the match!
… Oh, yes! When we got home the house across the street was gone!
Had a nice camping breakfast, because with a solo stove and some good olive oil you can’t go wrong with pretty fancy Monsen -style morning eggs.
Got on ferry number one after seeing the coastal express Dock. After Sandnessjøen we went to the Petter Dass museum, designed by Snøhetta. We did not go in to the actual museum exhibition, and only the kids went to the dass haha!
Drove to ferry number two, where the was an amazing pier with lovely water, but no ladder, so difficult to go for a swim…
Ferry number three was a bit slow, because there was something wrong with something and we were really keen to get to the hotel.
The hotel in Brønnøysund feels really fancy after a full on campsite experience, drunk sailors and all.
AMAZING views, two ferries, crossing the polar circle, lovely weather, tall mountains. Ended up in HAVBLIKK camping where we are once again in a tent, but they have a very nice restaurant here, so we just had whale carpaccio for starters and mussles and kveite.
Forgot to say that we stopped at Glomfjord, where bestemor lived when she was little. She said it was a “høl” and it was quite literally a very steep and hole-like valley. I guess the weather didn’t help. Really fascinating, and Ronja thought the power station looked like hogwarths.
