Today we walked down to the sea. Mikkel had a quick dip, but it was very rocky, so we went to the pool.

We drove from Cefalu to Messina to Taormina. Autostrada with tunnel after tunnel, but we got some nice views, and Mikkel got to pee in a bottle, which was event of the morning.

Spent a couple of hours in taormina. Really amazing place, but full of tourists if course.

Drove to a house south of Acireale, where we are spending a couple of relaxing days before Catania and home!

Went to Cefalù. Nice, but very touristy. Drove and found a hotel just outside of town.

And the winner this year, so far on being the best beach was this one today. Lovely!

Same procedure as yesterday:*beach, siesta, walk in the evening.

And, yes, Dan is getting pretty good at parking..!

Started off with this experience. Mum going to the loo in the morning and finding her boy in bed like this.

Went to the beach, went to the market ( or more like two guys in a garage filled with vegetables: 6 eggs, 1 cucumber, 2 kg of tomatoes, 1 lettuce, 3 types of olives and a litre of red wine, – 8€.) went home and cooked. Decided we are staying till friday.

Has breakfast on the balcony overlooking the sea and old castle.

Drove to agregento and Valle de Tempei. Really amazing experience to come around the corner and see two doric temples on top of the hill.!

Afterwards we were looking for ages for an open supermercado, when we found one in a horrible place called sciacca,we drove to a beach right next to the horrible place to have a picnic in and a swim.

Afterwards we booked an Airbnb, got a bit lost and saw some amazing scenery and drove to castellammare del golfo on the North Coast, where we are now.

Our flat goes on to the street, and I kid you not, but there is an orange old fiat 500 parked outside!

Started off by going to scicili, where we had a look around and something to drink. Then we drove past Ragusa, to look at the view. Then quite a long stretch, got to marina de Palma, where the bed and breakfast was right on top of a hill with an amazing view of the sea and an old castle. Went to the restaurant downstairs for dinner.
